ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently looking for a SAR Delegate to join the German MLRO Team. You will be in charge of coordinating and making decisions on AFC related topics: review of investigations, SAR review and approval, ongoing due diligence, EDD process, quality of the investigations, and tailored training.
You have a strong banking financial crime background, a robust operational experience in an international setting and you are before all an excellent investigator and have experience in SAR drafting.
You thrive in fast paced and tech driven environments; a first experience in fintech is a plus. You are forthcoming yet have high quality standards. You will work with a team of highly motivated and diverse staff. You will support the coordination between MLRO function and the AFC Operations department as well as with other departments in the AFC area.

Responsibilities:

  • Review investigations created by the AFC Operations department.
  • Assist AFC Operations on their investigations.
  • Oversee complex case investigations, sanctions reviews, and other AFC related processes.
  • Review and approve SARs, ensuring quality according to BaFin and the German FIU expectations.
  • Provide guidelines individually and collectively.
  • Support on the creation of templates for AFC Ops.
  • Support the German MLRO team on various projects and ad-hoc demands.
