Job Description Are you passionate about Sustainability and looking for an opportunity to make a real impact? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team at Deloitte. As a Consultant Sustainability with a focus on ESG assurance, you will leverage your sustainability reporting expertise in an assurance role to help clients on their journey towards more mature ESG reporting. It requires you to have a strong command of the ESG reporting regulatory environment and assurance standards, while bringing innovative ideas and solutions to our clients that will truly make an impact on their business and society as a whole. You will be responsible for the following: performing non-financial assurance on clients ESG reports; preparing the service delivery plan for the client, together with the Partners and Managers; identifying the problem areas and risks affecting the client, and supplying concrete advice; taking responsibility for the input necessary for internal and external reporting for the client; assessing the ESG disclosures and ensuring they comply with all statutory requirements auditing complex items in the ESG report and/or sustainability information in the annual report; drafting and reviewing sustainability reporting processes and disclosures for integrated reporting and ensuring audit readiness; operate as key team member of audit- and advisory assignments participating in discussions with clients, identifying ESG risks and opportunities from a business perspective and facilitating discussions with the client’s key stakeholders and supplying concrete advice; building strong and trusting relationships with clients; create proposals for prospective future clients; on the job coaching of peers with different skillsets applying a solution-based approach to methodologies and ideas in the evolving ESG landscape Qualifications Naturally you collaborate with your colleagues​ and you only want the best for our clients​. Responsibilities
As a Consultant in Sustainability Assurance, you will perform non-financial assurance on clients' ESG reports and prepare service delivery plans. You will also assess ESG disclosures for compliance and audit complex items in sustainability reports.
