SAIC is seeking to fill an opening for a User Engagement Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Representative supporting our Technical Action Group in MID. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a baseline knowledge of NRO’s posture to meet evolving mission needs of various customers/partners (Field and Service Reps, IC and other DoD partner Reps.) The candidate will provide vital technical and mission expertise to the Directorate leadership, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the organization and service as a key liaison between the executive, the Directorates Offices & Groups, and the user engagement teams. The candidate will be required to have extensive engagement experience with USAFRICOM and USEUCOM customers and familiarization with NRO ISR Tools and capabilities. Make a difference in securing our nation’s security through quality outreach of NRO’s capabilities, tools and tradecraft. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop and provide preparatory briefings, data, and information to ensure the MID Front Office are properly informed and prepared for participation in NRO senior level meetings Provide senior executive level support (e.g. point papers, PowerPoint presentations, ETC.) for MID meetings, forums, and technical review ETC. The ideal representative will perform engagements across the Dept of Defense and Intelligence Community utilizing customer domain experience / expertise across all disciplines. Have a broad understanding of the full range of customer products and services Possess and develop in-depth knowledge of key partners supported by MID (i.e. COCOMS, Services, other IC/DOD entities) Synthesize information received from MID entities into a directorate level response Provide technical support for NRO engagement with USAFRICOM/USEUCOM, subordinate components commands and operation centers. Provide NRO technical advice, Subject Matter Expertise, coordination assistance and reach-back support to NRO field representative Educate users on NRO systems, capabilities, and corporate strategies. Ensure users know of and can access NRO systems, services, and capabilities and assist the user in leveraging capabilities. Ensure users are aware of resource-related issues and operational status of NRO systems, capabilities, and services and the impacts these issues may have. Enable rapid response with an enterprise solution. Function as an action officer for the NRO Senior Field Representative and the NRO Government Office leadership as required. Execute NRO strategic messaging, user needs tracking, business intelligence and data metrics capture, and customer relationship management and monitoring. Frequent interaction with Government, SETA, FFRDC, and external stakeholders Required Qualifications Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph Bachelor’s degree and 9+ year’s professional related experience Must be highly self-motivated; strong technical and leadership background; professional and tactful under pressure; effective negotiation and diplomatic skills Must have excellent communications skills, both written and oral, for coordinated communications with organization and representatives throughout the IC and DOD, including senior military and government civilian personnel and contractors Understanding of the intelligence community and customer domain, along with strong proven experience of technical fundamentals in IC space collectors, command and control, mission control, and mission processing Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environment Customer focused and capable of representing the customer in community forums Knowledge of SIGINT and GEOINT remote sensing systems, protection, and overall space and ground architecture including mission management and/or mission processing functions Knowledge of visualization, situational awareness and collaboration tools to enhance utility of NRO capabilities to users
