Description

We are currently looking to recruit a Warranty and After Sales Coordinator for an Machinery company based in Kildare

This role is responsible for managing all aspects of warranty operations for agricultural machinery, including tractors, harvesters, and sprayers. This role ensures timely and accurate processing of warranty claims, adherence to manufacturer policies, and delivery of exceptional after-sales service. It requires strong technical knowledge of agricultural equipment, analytical thinking, and effective communication with dealers, service teams, and customers.

  • Suitable candidate must demonstrate on their CV their experience working in a similar industry with at least 3 years experience
  • Salary guide: €44,500 to €46,000 depending on experience
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the complete warranty lifecycle for agricultural machinery, ensuring efficient and accurate claim processing.
  • Evaluate and authorise warranty claims in line with manufacturer and company policies.
  • Manage invoicing for whole goods and ensure timely processing.
  • Monitor and report on workshop performance through key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Coordinate technical training sessions and apprenticeship programmes for workshop staff.
  • Maintain compliance with all warranty procedures and documentation standards.
  • Analyse warranty data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for product or service improvements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer after-sales inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional resolution.
  • Keep detailed records of claims, parts usage, and labour hours.
  • Generate reports on costs, trends, and operational efficiency.
  • Stay updates about new machinery models.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE & SOCIAL SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE

  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal
  • Good organisation and administrative skills.
  • Technical knowledge of engines, hydraulics and electrics.
  • Confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing environment with the ability to be proactive and strategic in thinking and reasoning
