This Position reports to:
Customer Support Manager
We are looking for two After Sales Engineers to join ABB Oy, Marine and Ports division, located in Vuosaari, Helsinki. Reporting to the Spare Parts Sales Manager, you will work in the Service – Spare Parts department, which provides spare part-related services to marine customers.
One role focuses on selling spare parts for new shipbuilding projects, while the other is dedicated to managing dry-docking projects for assigned customers. The range of inquiries handled in both roles varies from individual spare parts to complete spare part sets.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handling spare part inquiries, determining correct spare parts and preparing spare part quotations to the customers and ABB network for further delivery to our end users
• Taking part in improvement projects
• Proactive customer support concerning spare part services
• Working with end customers and ABB internal stakeholders, including supply management, project management and technical support
• Developing the quotation–order–delivery process

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a technical field
• A few years’ experience in industrial maintenance or spare part services
• Experience in reading technical drawings
• A basic understanding of the after-sales business
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new IT tools. SAP user experience is considered as an advantage
• An energetic and spontaneous approach to work
• A systematic, punctual, independent, responsible and flexible attitude to work
• Good spoken and written communication skills in English. Finnish is seen as an advantage
