Job Title: After School Assistant, Part-time (Approximately 15 hours per week) Reports to: Principal Location: St. Andrew Catholic School | Cape Coral, FL Classification: Hourly/Non-exempt Overview St. Andrew Catholic School is seeking an After School Assistant. This is a non-instructional position for the 2024-2025 school year. This part-time position requires approximately 15 hours per week in the afternoon. As an aftercare assistant, you will assist in the supervision of students in grades Pk3-8 in the school's aftercare program. Job Responsibilities * Supervise students during all after-school activities * Ability to work with various age/grade groups * Aids students with homework * Implements age-appropriate activities * Monitors safety for students always * Accompanies younger students to the restroom * Maintains discipline and decorum * Maintains a clean and organized classroom * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications * High School diploma or equivalent * Excellent communications skills * Excellent organizational skills * Previous childcare experience preferred * Maintain a calm nature in a sometimes-chaotic environment
