Child’s Play is an Out of School Care Company that operates in 16 schools across Calgary and Area. We believe in the child’s right to play, and that play should be child led. We provide a happy and safe environment where children can explore the world around them in their own way. Our mission is to create and provide high quality play experiences that inspire and support healthy child development. Child’s Play philosophy and mission has originated and adopted from the UK play work principles. These principles establish the professional and ethical framework of Play. We have formed a training partnership with PARS to provide extensive training containing theories, methods, and techniques which enable practitioners to articulate development, and evaluate their Play work practice. This training is delivered to all levels of Child’s Play employees with our in-house PARS trainer.
Our staff are our most valuable resources. Child’s Play strives to hire individuals who are committed to the profession. We are currently hiring for our Westgate School in Calgary SW , for the 2025-2026 school year. Hours are split shift Monday - Thursday 2pm - 6pm and Friday 11am - 6pm.
