The Calgary Jewish Academy is seeking an After-School Child Care Educator for the 2025-2026 school year.

• Position Overview:

CJA is seeking an enthusiastic and caring After-School Child Care Educator to join our team for the 2025–2026 school year. This role will support students in a safe, structured, and engaging after-school program, focusing on social, recreational, and developmental activities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Level One Early Childhood Educator certification
• Police Information Check / Vulnerable Sector Search (or willingness to complete before start date)
• Standard First Aid / CPR certification
• Experience working with children in a structured care or educational setting is preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
• Canadian citizen or legally entitled to work in Canada

• Supervise and engage students in educational and recreational activities that support social, emotional, and physical development
• Co-lead student groups with other child care educators
• Prepare and set up activity materials and program spaces
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized environment
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents as needed
• Attend staff meetings when, training, and team-building sessions
• Perform other duties as assigned
