JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a friendly and passionate art teaching assistant to run our after school art club in Chalfont St Peter to enhance the educational experience of children as well as boost confidence.
Times on Wednesday’s : 3:30-4:30
Rate - £40

REQUIREMENTS

-Enhanced DBS (already possess one)
- Previous experience working with children, especially those with special educational needs, is highly desirable.
-Art portfolio is a bonus

EXPERIENCE

• A degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous teaching experience in an educational setting is advantageous
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
• Proficiency in various artistic techniques and mediums.
• A passion for fostering creativity and encouraging artistic expression among students.
• Experience with classroom management and creating a positive learning environment is beneficial.

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

• Teach various art forms including drawing, painting, sculpture.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
• Maintain an inventory of art supplies and manage classroom resources effectively.
• Stay updated on current trends in art education and incorporate relevant techniques into teaching.
