SUMMARY

We are seeking passionate After-School Assistants to join our team at Auckland College Independent School in South Liverpool. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing students’ experiences, contributing to their academic success and personal development, as well as making our wrap-around service enjoyable for all.

• Provide one-on-one or small group instruction in homework time..
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student development.
• Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies.
• Participate in school events and activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance
• Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field preferred.
• Proven experience, particularly with children aged 3-11 years.
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage students effectively.
• Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and students.
• Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
