Are you passionate about working with children and love the outdoors? We at The Lookout Day Nursery & Club are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and reliable After School Club Assistant to join our small & friendly team.
Our nursery and after-school club are rooted in a forest school ethos – embracing nature, exploration, and creativity to support children’s development in a fun, inspiring way. We believe in the power of outdoor play, environmental responsibility, and nurturing curious minds.

This part-time, term-time only position runs Monday to Thursday, 14:30-18:30, with the opportunity for additional hours covering in our nursery setting.

As our After School Club Assistant, you will:

• Support the safe, caring, and inclusive supervision of children aged 4–11 during after school hours, both indoors and out
• Work closely with the After School Club Lead to plan and deliver engaging and meaningful play opportunities
• Foster a positive, nurturing environment where every child feels valued
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
• Help maintain a high standard of care and safety, including administering first aid where necessary
