JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Club Manager to oversee the operations of our club, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in childcare and early childhood education, along with excellent leadership and organisational skills. As the Club Manager, you will be responsible for developing programmes that promote learning and personal growth while mentoring staff and fostering positive relationships with parents and children. It comes with an additional responsibility as the club’s Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO). This hybrid role combines on-site and remote working, providing an opportunity to lead and support a dynamic, inclusive after-school environment.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Knowledge of SEN provision and inclusive practice (Funded training available).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications in childcare or education (Level 3 or above preferred) Funded Training available.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with parents, staff, and external agencies
  • Develop and implement support strategies
  • Maintain SEN records and contribute to individual plans
  • Supervise and support club staff, ensuring high standards of care and safeguarding.
  • Plan and coordinate activities that support social, emotional, and educational development.
  • Undertake relevant administrative tasks and attend regular team meetings.
