After-School Instructor (K–8) – Wayland Public Schools  Location: Wayland, MA   Hourly Rate: Starting at $30/hour   Schedule: Part-time, in-person  For over 40 years, Livius Prep has delivered expert tutoring, test prep, and college counseling to thousands of students nationwide. Now, we’re bringing our proven academic support programs directly to local schools in Wayland, offering weekly small-group tutoring sessions in Math and English Language Arts (ELA) for students in grades K–8.  Our mission is to empower every student to achieve academic success through personalized instruction, confidence-building, and meaningful progress. Whether a student needs help with homework or wants to level up their learning, our after-school programs provide focused, friendly support in a fun and stress-free environment.  Position Overview  We’re seeking passionate and reliable After-School Instructors to lead small-group enrichment sessions in Wayland Public Schools. Instructors will work with up to five students at a time, delivering engaging lessons in literacy and STEM subjects. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners while being part of one of the fastest-growing school partnership programs in the area.  Responsibilities  * Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment  * Deliver engaging academic support in Math and ELA using provided curriculum  * Inspire students to think creatively and build confidence in their abilities  * Manage classroom behavior and foster respectful group dynamics  * Provide timely session notes and feedback to the Livius team  * Communicate regularly with program coordinators and support staff  * Assess student progress and adapt instruction as needed  Requirements  Experience teaching or tutoring in academic subjects  Strong classroom management and communication skills  Reliable transportation to travel between school sites  Ability to work with culturally diverse student populations  Completion of at least 2 years of college; pursuing a 4-year degree preferred  Eligible to work in the U.S. and able to pass a national background check and a CORI check  Weekly Schedule  Monday through Thursday After School Hours Employment Details  Hourly rate starting at $30/hour   Paid onboarding and ongoing training  Curriculum materials and course outlines provided  Supportive team environment with growth opportunities with other partnership programs  Livius Prep is an intentional equal opportunity employer.
