POSITION SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Youth Program Director, the After School Program (ASP) Site Coordinator is responsible for daily onsite supervision, program implementation, and the development of youth and staff. The ASP Site Coordinator ensures a high level of program quality that will expose youth to various learning opportunities, working to establish a positive relationship with all program participants, their families, and members of the school administration. This position is responsible for helping maintain a safe and welcoming after school program site, including spending time in ratio working directly with youth as needed. They will create an academic and enrichment-based program that is compliant with the Youth Development Principles of the MArin YMCA of Greater San Francisco.
After School Program Dates: August 19, 2025 – June 12, 2026

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • High School diploma/equivalent and any of the following:
  • Completion of 48 college units
  • Passed CA Basic Education Skills Test (CBEST)
  • Passed District Instructional Aide Exam (upon hire)
  • Availability Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week during program hours
  • 2+ years of experience working in youth programs
  • 6+ months of experience in a supervisory role
  • Clearance of TB test within the last 2 years

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in school environments, particularly local districts
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish
