JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Afterschool Site Director to lead our afterschool program. The Site Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations, ensuring student safety, supervising staff, and building a welcoming and enriching environment where youth can thrive. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage staff, compliance, and family communication with minimal oversight.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must meet Massachusetts EEC Site Coordinator requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, or related field plus at least 6 months of experience with school-age children.
• OR Bachelor’s degree in any field (or Associate’s in a related field) plus at least 1 year of experience with school-age children.
• OR High School diploma/GED plus at least 5 years of experience working with school-age children (RISE program requirement).
• Previous supervisory or program management experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of child/youth development and afterschool programming.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Bilingual skills a plus.
