Kamaʻāina Kids is looking for a caring and dependable One-on-One Group Leader to support a child with special needs in our Waikoloa After School Program. In this role, you’ll work directly with one student each afternoon, helping them engage in activities, build friendships, and grow in a positive, supportive setting. If you’re patient, encouraging, and passionate about helping children succeed, this is meaningful work where you’ll truly see the difference you make. What You’ll Do Provide one-on-one support to a child during the after school program Help them participate in games, activities, and group experiences Encourage positive social interactions and independence Support a safe and structured environment Work alongside program staff to ensure every child feels welcome and supported Your presence helps turn small wins into big confidence boosts. Who This Role Is Perfect For This position is a great fit for: Students studying education, psychology, or human services Aspiring teachers, SPED educators, or school counselors Paraprofessionals, aides, or RBTs Anyone passionate about inclusive childcare and youth development Experience is helpful, but not required—we’ll provide training. Schedule 📍 Waikoloa Elementary Monday–Friday: 1:45 PM – 5:30 PM Wednesdays (early release): 12:30 PM start No nights. No weekends. No work to take home.
