JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking passionate, responsible, and dedicated After-School Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have strong academic knowledge, teaching experience, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children. You will be responsible for supporting students with their homework, delivering structured lessons based on the Ontario Curriculum, and fostering positive learning habits.
This position requires reliable transportation, as teachers are responsible for picking up students from schools and bringing them to the after-school program location. Outstanding candidates may be offered additional responsibilities and the opportunity to transition into a full-time role.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience teaching or tutoring children (SK–Grade 12).
  • Strong academic background, with the ability to tutor in Math and Science preferred.
  • RECE (Registered Early Childhood Educator) graduates or certified teachers are an asset.
  • Ability to prepare program plans and progress reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and parents.
  • Bilingual (English plus Mandarin and/or Cantonese) strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • Responsible, patient, creative, and passionate about education.
