Job Summary: Lake Highland's Auxiliary Programs department seeks a part-time Aftercare Assistant to assist in the facilitation of LHP’s Aftercare program during the school year. Aftercare provides a fun, safe environment for appx. 75-125 students daily in grades PreK-8 who need additional care after the school day. Aftercare gives students an opportunity to engage socially with friends and peers, play creatively, explore new interests, and relax and unwind from the day. This is a part-time, 10-month, non-exempt position. Schedule includes various shifts, Monday - Friday from 2:45 pm to ~5:15 pm. School holidays and breaks are off. Education/Experience: * Must be at least 18 years of age. * Experience working with children, preferably in a camp or school setting, is required.
