Description The Village School of Naples is seeking a part-time Aftercare Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. The Village School values inquiry-based, student-centered learning aimed to empower and inspire students to create solutions to challenges faced in an ever-changing world. This position reports to the Aftercare and Enrichment Program Coordinator and is assigned to care for and supervise a group of students enrolled in the program Monday-Friday from 2:30 - 5:30 PM and available to work a full day schedule on Teacher workdays throughout the School Year. Duties and Responsibilities · Set up Aftercare daily snack and assist students with completing their homework. · Interact and engage with all students including playing games, helping with crafts, sports and any Aftercare related activities. · Ensure that all the students that are assigned to you are with you at all times. · Supervise students on the playground and ensure that they are playing safe and try to prevent injuries. · Model positive behavior during the Aftercare program. · Maintain excellent communication with the Aftercare and Summer Program Coordinator. · Support the mission and objectives of the school's learning philosophy. · Other duties as assigned. Requirements · Must have previous childcare experience. · Must demonstrate a good knowledge of the English language and use appropriately. · Physically, the position of Aftercare Assistant requires sitting, walking, and standing. · Must be nurturing, enjoy working with children and interacting with them on a daily basis.
