DESCRIPTION:

15hr p/week - Monday to Friday from 3pm till 6pm
As a School Assistant, you will be an active member of a team providing high quality education and care in an after care and vacation care service for children of preschool age. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Actively supervise and effectively communicate with the children
Respond to the strengths, interests and needs of the children
Contribute to the recording of the observations of children’s learning and development

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care would be a plus
ACECQA approved Certificate III level qualification
Minimum 1 year of experience in an education and care setting
Knowledge of and understanding of the National Qualifications Standards and Early Years Learning Framework would be highly regarded
Speaking French would be a plu
