Description Position Overview: Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School is seeking dependable, attentive, and caring individuals to serve as Aftercare Workers. This role focuses on maintaining a safe, structured, and positive environment for students during the after school program. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Supervise students in both indoor and outdoor settings • Ensure student safety and adherence to school expectations • Assist with homework time when applicable • Facilitate games, activities, and student engagement • Manage daily transitions including snack, restroom, dismissal, and pickup • Respond appropriately to student needs and minor incidents • Maintain organization and cleanliness of aftercare areas • Communicate important information to the Aftercare Director • Release students only to authorized adults Requirements Qualifications and Requirements: • Must enjoy working with children and demonstrate patience and awareness • Prior childcare or youth supervision experience preferred • Must pass a background check • Must complete Virtus Training (provided if needed) • Ability to maintain a calm, professional, and supportive demeanor
Responsibilities
