Play a vital role contributing to a leading veterinary facility at ARH Brisbane! The ARH Brisbane team are committed to providing the highest quality veterinary care to companion animals. Our Brisbane branch is well-equipped with advanced medical technologies and staffed by a team of skilled professionals dedicated to improving the lives of pets through exceptional healthcare. Position Overview: We are currently looking for x2 Part-time Hospital Housekeepers to join us at ARH Brisbane as we move into our busiest time of the year! You will assist our dedicated teams of Vets and Nurses in keeping the hospital clean and tidy, ensuring our patients continue to receive the best care possible. Previous commercial cleaning experience advantageous, but not a necessity. This role is afterhours, 4pm – 2am with overnight penalty rates applicable for all shifts. Shifts will be shared across 7 days. To be successful in this position you must possess the following attributes: A friendly and professional attitude with strong communication skills High degree of self-discipline and maturity to work autonomously without direct supervision Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced hospital environment Ability to take initiative and prioritise tasks to suit the needs of the hospital High attention to detail and strong time management skills Duties will include but not be limited to: Maintaining cleanliness of all hospital areas, including floors, walls, and bathrooms Cage cleaning and re-setting Cleaning of patient dishes Laundry upkeep Emptying of bins, including break down of cardboard/recycling Restocking of shelves Join the ARH Brisbane afterhours team and help us keep things clean and calm behind the scenes!
Responsibilities
The Afterhours Hospital Housekeeper will maintain cleanliness in all hospital areas, including floors, walls, and bathrooms, as well as perform cage cleaning and laundry upkeep. This role is essential in ensuring a clean and tidy environment for the veterinary team and patients.
