Job Description The Animal Referral Hospital is seeking Part Time Vet Nurses for our afterhours shifts! Part Time Veterinary Nurse - 30 hours a week (Night Shift) Overnight nursing of hospitalised in-patients only Based in Sinnamon Park Above award wage and overnight penalties Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent ARH has nursing staff caring for our patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To continue to provide the best possible and continuous care to our patients, we require part time Veterinary Nurses who are available to work after hours and to help cover annual and sick leave (sometimes at relatively short notice). Casual Veterinary Nurses will also be considered. We are seeking qualified and experienced veterinary nurses to provide care for our Surgical inpatients that are hospitalised overnight. The position requires high level nursing skills and experience, coupled with the ability to work autonomously. The work is under the guidance and direction of our ECC Veterinarians. This role would be ideal for a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse with experience working in a specialist centre or an emergency department environment, is highly motivated, and can multi-task.
