Description
Description Schedule: Monday–Friday • Some local travel to customer sites Compensation: $45,000–$55,000 base + commission (six-figure potential for top performers) Benefits: 401(k) + match, medical, dental, vision, life, PTO, holidays, training by seasoned leadership About Factory Authorized Service At FAS, our business grows through hard work and great service—and lasting relationships. We’re California’s premium cooling-tower specialist providing installation, service, OEM parts, rebuilds/retrofits, replacements, rentals, and water treatment. As a former Mr. GoodTower® Service Center with deep EVAPCO roots (and strong experience with BAC, Marley, Recold, IMECO and more), we deliver faster, safer, more reliable outcomes across the state from our Los Angeles, San Diego, and Sacramento offices. The Opportunity Join a high-trust, high-support team where you’ll own a book of business, open new doors, and help clients solve real problems—from emergency service and scheduled maintenance to OEM parts (EVAPCO coils, EvapJet®, fill media, bearings, sheaves, motors) and water treatment solutions (Smart Shield, Pulse~Pure®, Water Saver). If you love building relationships, learning the tech, and winning with integrity, you’ll thrive here. What You’ll Do Develop & win new business for cooling-tower service, rebuild/retrofit, replacement, and water treatment; prospect via cold calling, email, networking, and referrals. Grow strategic accounts by understanding sites, systems, and stakeholder priorities (facility, operations, engineering, property management). Scope and solution: conduct site walks, gather data (nameplate, thermal/flow, vibration/alignment, condition), engage our service/engineering teams to build accurate scopes. Propose with clarity: prepare estimates and proposals for OEM parts, service agreements, turnkey replacements, energy/thermal upgrades, and rentals. Partner internally with operations, project managers, and technicians to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and great customer experience. Pipeline discipline: maintain CRM activity, forecast accurately, and report on KPIs (leads, quotes, hit rate, margin, renewals). Champion safety & quality consistent with FAS standards and customer requirements. How We Work (Our Values) Customer First: 100% satisfaction, fair pricing, genuine OEM parts, done right the first time. Team Over Ego: We win together—sales, service, and engineering moving as one. Adapt & Improve: We evolve with our customers and industry to deliver better value. 24/7 Mindset: When customers need us, we show up. Growth & Training You’ll be mentored by seasoned leadership and factory-trained specialists. We invest in technical and sales training so you can confidently progress to six-figure earnings and a larger portfolio. Requirements What You’ll Bring 2+ years of sales experience (service, industrial, mechanical, or HVAC preferred). Strong relationship-building skills; clear written and verbal communication. Learner’s mindset with the ability to grasp cooling-tower mechanics (fans, drives, bearings, coils, fill, nozzles, gearboxes, motors) and basic water chemistry concepts. Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable with CRM, email, and proposal tools. Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to customer sites across California. Nice-to-Haves Experience with EVAPCO, BAC, Marley, Recold equipment or OEM parts sales. Knowledge of water treatment (Smart Shield, Pulse~Pure®, Water Saver) and energy/thermal upgrade drivers. Familiarity with vibration/alignment testing, passivation/“white rust” prevention, and retrofit/replacement workflows.
