Nursery Assistant Positions Available
1 x Nursery Assistant Positions with 15 -20 Hours per Week
This position is an Afternoon job around 4 days per week start time 12.30pm
(Some movement/consdieration may be given within reason if working alongside a morning position)
Expected Start date of October/November dependent on vetting times in process

We would welcome applications from suitably qualified childcare candidates for Nursery Assistant Position

  • This position will be working with children aged 0-5years within our Babies & Tiny Tot’s, Toddlers or Pre-School Rooms

Essential Criteria

  • You must hold a minimum qualification of CCLD Level 2 in Childcare & Education/ Equivalent or be working towards completing your qualification
  • Experience working with children in the younger ages of Nursery 0-5 years
  • Required to be over 18 years of age

Desirable Criteria

  • Preferred experience of working in a Day Care Nursery Setting with children aged 0-5years
  • Hold up to date core training in Child Safeguarding Certificate, Paediatric First Aid Certificate, Basic Food & Hygiene

Some duties you will be required to fulfil in this position are:

  • You will be responsible to Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor and Management
  • You will be working as part of a team providing day to day care for our children
  • Ensuring that there is a safe, caring and welcoming environment for the children and their families.
  • Helping to provide age appropriate and stimulating activities for children daily
  • Nappy changing, toileting children & feeding children alongside, cleaning and preparing the room and equipment for the children daily
  • Communicating with parents daily to give a brief report on their day
  • Have good communication skills to enable effective working within your team
