• Upper Canada Fuel & Burner is a family owned business with locations in Peterborough, Oshawa, Napanee & Kingston, ON. Upper Canada Fuel and Burner is committed to supplying quality home comfort, commercial products and service to our customers across our expanding geographical footprint.
  We are seeking a full time Driver for our Oshawa team. This position requires afternoon availability as the hours are approximately 3:00pm - 11:00pm Monday to Friday.

JOB DESCRIPTION

· Class DZ license required, AZ an asset - abstract required and in good standing
· This position will focus on both Oil and Propane Deliveries. Previous experience in propane is an asset.
· Hours of work: 3pm - 11pm Sunday to Thursday. Schedule flexibility can be discussed. Drivers are required to be part of an on-call rotation every 3-4 weeks approx.
· Must be able to drive manual transmission.
· Candidate will perform petroleum product delivery to residential and commercial customers.
· Fuel delivery experience preferred but not required.
· Accurate and timely completion of all driver paperwork is required.

· Transfer trucks between sites as required.
· Light facilities maintenance and other duties as assigned.
· Consistently follow all Health & Safety Policies & Procedures on a daily basis
· Reports to - Operations Manager
· Base hourly rate $21.00-24.00; depending on experience.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

· Licenses/ Certifications - Class DZ license – in good standing – Abstract required.
· Physical Ability to lift 50lbs where required on a consistent basis and occasionally maneuver heavier and/or awkward objects independently e.g. hoses, truck hood.
