Part Time - Afternoon Receptionist/Care Navigator.
Afternoon hours are non-negotiable (please do not apply if you are unable to commit to afternoon shifts)
From 1pm - 6.30 - approx 25 hours per week
You maybe able to increase your hours to cover AL and staff sickness
Duties:

Experience:

• GP Reception: 2 years (required

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience
• Schedule appointments for healthcare providers
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare professionals
• Triage econsults and Accurx total triage appointments (supported by clinical team)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic medical record systems
• Adhere to Health and Safety procedures
• Assist with general office tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and filing paperwork
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient patient care coordination
  Skills:
• Previous experience in GP setting is essential
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
• Proficient in using EMIS, Docman and other Clinical software applications
• Attention to detail and accuracy in transcribing and proofreading medical documents
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
