Housed in a beautifully restored 1950s carriage, the Countess of York offers guests a journey into timeless elegance - and we’re looking for a talented Afternoon Tea Chef to bring our menus to life.
Reporting to the Head Chef, this full-time position (40 hours per week) calls for precision, and a passion for patisserie, ensuring that every guest is treated to a first-class culinary experience. Responsibilities
  • Preparing elegant sandwiches, pastries, cakes, and scones with consistent quality and attention to detail
  • Ensuring all dishes are presented beautifully in keeping with the Countess of York’s premium brand image
  • Supporting the use of seasonal produce and contributing ideas to menu development
  • Maintaining excellent stock control and minimising waste
  • Working closely with front-of-house to ensure smooth service and timing
  • Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organisation in compliance with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards
  • Representing Compass Group UK&I with professionalism and pride
