Having claimed 4 National Awards in the last three years for overall dealer performance, aftersales performance and customer service, we are now looking for an Aftersales Advisor to join our Hyundai operation in Lincoln.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Our ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, meet deadlines and be self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude. Strong IT skills are essential for the position and an ability to prioritise own workload. Strong customer facing skills are an essential requirement for this position along with experience within a similar position. Full driving license is essential for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Checking customers in/out.
  • Upselling any VHC work reported and Service Plans
  • Calling parts customers and booking in any customers.
  • Ensuring customers are kept up to date.
  • Explain and educate customers on the follow-up process to encourage response levels.
  • Confident use of parts looking up and pricing.
  • Good understanding of the parts department as a whole to assist aftersales department
  • Preparation of next days jobs ensuring all parts in stock and pre-picked/recalls checked/service plan quotes etc.
  • Invoicing/ sales /warranty.
  • Ensuring all card and cash payments are taken correctly and cash handling procedure followed.
  • Checking all courtesy vehicles are on site are clean, fuelled and easily accessible ready for the next day.
  • General housekeeping
  • Liaising with the workshop for progress and technical advice
  • Creating and loading bookings onto electronic diary efficiently and monitoring this function
  • Filing of Paperwork
