Balliderreen Playgroup CLG are currently recruiting for the position of Afterschool Assistant.
This role involves the completion of homework with the children along with preparing and implementing activities for the children. The candidate must have a genuine love for children. No qualifications required.
Your duties and responsibilities will be:
. Ensuring that all children are happy, safe and enjoying their environment
· Creating a fun, dynamic, interesting programme/ routine/ activities for the day
· Ensuring children recieve healthy snacks and dinners
· Ensure a good standard of hygiene
· Attend meetings and undergo training as required
· Be aware of all policies and follow same
· Record keeping
Communicating with parents
· Supervise homework activities.
· Accompany children to and from school
· Perform other reasonable and relevant duties as may be assigned from time to time
