REQUIREMENTS:

• Ideally hold a QQI level 5/6 in Early Years Education or relevant childcare experience with school-age children
• Fluent in English
• Previous experience in a childcare setting, particularly within an ECCE environment, is desirable
• Strong understanding of child development and early years education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A warm, caring, and patient approach to working with children
• Garda Vetting is required prior to commencement

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Support the operation in the day-to-day running of the classroom
• Assist in planning and implementing an appropriate curriculum in line with Aistear and Síolta frameworks
• Provide high-quality care and education to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Observe and document children’s progress, ensuring records are maintained in line with Tusla requirements
