Little Rays Moira has an amazing opportunity for an afterschool Nursery Assistant to join our team on a permanent basis.
Job Types: hours of work would be 11.30am-6pm or 1pm-6pm

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with school age children is desirable.
  • Qualified or unqualified may apply
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to multitask
  • A positive and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • A willingness to learn and undertake further training as required. Please note that this position will require a background check and reference checks.
Responsibilities
  • Assisting the team in delivering the daily care and education of the children.
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care while supporting the
    health and safety of the children at all times.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs in line with the
    Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Building strong relationships with parents and carers.
  • Maintaining accurate records and observations of the children’s development.
  • Adhering to the nursery’s policies and procedures, including child protection and
    safeguarding.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of the children.
  • Undertaking any other duties as required by the Nursery Manager.
  • Prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
