Position
Fern Hill School – Burlington Campus, is seeking a caring, energetic, and responsible individual to join our Aftercare Program team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, fosters a positive and inclusive atmosphere, and can engage students in meaningful activities while ensuring their safety and well-being.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with children (elementary age) in a school, camp, or childcare setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to lead activities and manage groups of children
• Enthusiastic, dependable, and flexible team player

• Supervise and ensure the safety of students (ages Junior Kindergarten – Grade 8 during after-school hours
• Create a welcoming, supportive environment that encourages positive social interactions
• Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities (games, crafts, reading, homework support, outdoor play)
• Manage student behavior with fairness, consistency, and respect
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records
