Happy Hills Day Nursery is recruiting an Afterschool Club Assistant 12-15 hours per week, possible increase in hours if desired.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Level 2 or 3 Children’s Care Learning and Development qualification desirable but not essential.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Enthusiasm for working with young children
• A commitment to the provision of high quality childcare for school aged children.
• A positive approach to inclusive practice with children and colleagues.
• Assist the children with their written homework’s if requested
• Ensure a high standard of care is provided, whilst promoting a home from home environment that the children can feel safe and secure.
• Plan activities for the children based on their interests.
• Maintain paperwork that is required throughout the day.
• Have a professional yet friendly approach in dealing with parents.
• Must be able to work well in a team but also have the confidence to work independently.
• The ability to follow our settings Policies and Procedures.
• Applicants must be 18 years or over.
  Wages discussed at interview based on experience and qualifications.
