JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and management skills, with a genuine love for dance and teaching. This role involves instructing students of various ages, particularly focusing on children, and fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment. The Dance Instructor will play a crucial role in developing students’ skills, confidence, and appreciation for dance.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in dance instruction or related fields is essential.
• Background in early childhood education or childcare is highly desirable.
• Experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively engage with students and parents.
• Hold a valid DBS
• Desirable - First Aid Training

• Deliver engaging dance lessons to students of all ages, with a focus on children.

• Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages creativity and self-expression among students.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively while maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Communicate clearly with students and parents regarding progress, expectations, and any concerns.
• Collaborate with other instructors to organise performances and events that showcase student talent.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during classes and activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dance studio space.
