Description Join the Miami Children’s Museum team as an Afterschool Site Coordinator and lead a dynamic after-school program located at Liberty City Elementary. We’re looking for a strong, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves working with youth, and knows how to bring structure, energy, and creativity to a program every single day. If you’re passionate about education, leadership, and creating safe, engaging spaces for students to grow - this is your moment! Essential Functions You’ll be the go-to leader for the day-to-day operations of the after-school program, ensuring everything runs smoothly from dismissal to pickup. Oversee daily program operations including academics, enrichment, sports, and recreation Lead, coach, and support instructors and teachers on-site Ensure full compliance with program standards, including Florida Department of Children and Families and school requirements Build strong relationships with students, families, and school administration Monitor attendance, engagement, and overall program success Support behavior management using structured and positive approaches Plan and execute events, family engagement activities, and site initiatives Manage administrative tasks including attendance tracking, reporting, inventory, and payroll review (Paylocity) Lead weekly staff meetings and support ongoing staff development Other duties as assigned Requirements Director’s Credential or AA degree in Education or related field 2+ years of experience developing educational programs 2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Passion for youth development and community impact Must pass Level II background screening and drug test CPR/First Aid/AED certification (or willingness to obtain) At MCM, you’re not just running a program - you’re shaping experiences.
