Unionville College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Afterschool Soccer Programmer to join our afterschool program team. This is an excellent opportunity for student teachers, teacher candidates, or university students who are passionate about sports, working with children, and gaining valuable teaching experience in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and assist with the afterschool soccer program for students ages 6–10.
  • Provide a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Encourage skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
  • Supervise participants and ensure their safety at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) is mandatory.
  • First Aid/CPR is an asset
  • Previous experience working with or teaching young children (ages 6–10).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion for soccer and youth development.
  • Reliability, responsibility, and a positive attitude.
