JOB DESCRIPTION

Manages a credit administration/loan review group responsible for production Ag loan approval, administration and review activities that support established credit objectives. Ensures credits adhere to existing policies and regulatory credit specifications; documentation is adequate to ensure security of collateral; and ongoing administration and review is adequate to maintain the loan portfolio’s quality and profitability.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically eight to 10 years of related experience

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Advanced knowledge of Ag credit policies, credit analysis, procedures and philosophy
  • Strong analytical skills in relation to evaluating asset utilization and goals

  • Demonstrated analytical and risk analysis skills - focused in Ag

  • Thorough knowledge of organization, business practices, business philosophy, and ethics

  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills
  • Well-developed customer service/relations skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge in Lending Cloud
  • Preferred experience with nCino

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite - including Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc

  • Good negotiation and networking skill and ability

  • Established experience in building partnerships with Ag internal partners (Relationship Managers, Sales Support Staff, CRM Partners, etc.)
  • Ability to be a team player and be agile to needs of the team
  • Focus on growth within U.S. Bank Ag credit culture
