Job Title: AGE Delivery Engineering Lead
Location: RAF Coningsby (Full-time onsite)
Salary: £42,802
Referral Scheme Bonus: £1000

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

Essential:

  • Hold Mechanical / Electrical qualifications associated to Ground Engineering, previous RAF Trade Group 5 or Delivery Team experience introducing Ground Equipment
  • Experience of MOD policies, National legislations and Supply Chain policy and processes associated to Ground Equipment
  • Knowledge and use of Joint Asset Management and Engineering Solutions (JAMES), specifically generating maintenance forecast, modification, fault and spares reports
  • Effective workload management to ensure all activities are managed in accordance with priorities as directed

Desirable:

  • Previously qualified or hold a current competency as a Unit Level Tester and calibration of Test and Measuring Equipment
  • Understanding of the Through life support (TLS) and the AGERD process for all new, upgraded or scrapped Ground Equipment
Responsibilities
  • As subject matter expert, provide direction and guidance to the maintenance organisation of Ground Equipment in the UK and overseas for any issues or concerns raised
  • Ensures planning, scheduling, controlling and reporting activities are effective to optimise Ground Equipment availability and meet budget and performance criteria
  • Engagement with key external stakeholders to ensure requirements are fully understood and challenged
  • Interpret data, trends and turn this into user-friendly outputs, written statements, visualisations and graphs etc.
  • Working independently of other professionals, providing a service to the Demand Management Team(s) involving provision of advice, guidance and recommendations for future outcomes
  • Represent the organisation, building strong relationships within the business, the customer base and suppliers
