    Pay: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year

ABOUT THE ROLE

Bissy Care is seeking Aged or Disabled Care Worker responsible for providing support and assistance to elderly or disabled individuals. Their primary aim is to enhance the quality of life of their clients by ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Personal Care: Assisting clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Medication Management: Administering prescribed medications and maintaining accurate health records.
  • Mobility Assistance: Helping with movement and transportation, including the use of mobility aids.
  • Meal Preparation and Feeding: Preparing nutritious meals and assisting clients with feeding if necessary.
  • Household Management: Performing light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Emotional Support: Offering companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Health Monitoring: Observing and reporting any changes in clients’ health and behaviour to healthcare professionals.
  • Exercise Encouragement: Promoting physical activities and exercises suitable for the client’s abilities.
  • Coordination of Care: Working with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic and continuous care.
