What you'll do:

  • Provide support with daily living activities, including personal care, cleaning, and hygiene
  • Assist with meal preparation, plating, serving, and refreshments
  • Prepare simple meals and snacks
  • Provide transport support to appointments and activities (where approved)
  • Deliver care in line with individualised care plans
  • Monitor client conditions and report changes to nursing staff
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other health professionals
  • Support clients’ physical, emotional, and social wellbeing
  • Encourage client independence and participation in care
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure appropriate support and resources
  • Uphold client dignity, rights, privacy, and confidentiality at all times
  • Work within own scope, seeking guidance when required
  • Follow infection control standards and safe work practices
  • Comply with legal, ethical, and organisational policies and procedures
  • Report changes in client condition and follow appropriate escalation processes
  • Contribute to a safe workplace by identifying and reporting hazards
  • Maintain compliance with Quality Management and Work Health & Safety requirements
  • Perform duties in line with strict confidentiality and privacy standards.
