JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
  • Experience in food preparation or bartending is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as required by catering events.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Support the catering team during events by setting up tables, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a clean and organised environment.
  • Help with the breakdown and cleaning of event spaces post-service.
  • Collaborate with chefs and other staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all areas of food preparation and service.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and replenishment of supplies as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries and needs promptly.
