QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preference will be given to individuals with post-secondary education and/or 1-2 years of office experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Creative and technical skills and ability to problem-solve

Responsibilities
  • Administer new broker contracting and licensing processing and set-ups, including setting up direct deposit and access to the broker portal
  • Process agency name changes, broker address changes, banking changes, agent of record and serving agent changes on policies, production bonus changes
  • Maintain agency contracting files, including purging of cancelled agent files
  • Verify commissions, performing manual adjustments to commissions, completing year-end commission write-offs
  • Work with other teams as necessary, including Finance, to solve broker commission issues.
  • Provide support to Life Brokers, ex: licensing and contracting inquiries, commission or production bonus inquiries, and questions related to provincial insurance council regulations
  • Process licensing and sponsorship applications
  • Verify license renewals for brokers in each province
  • Verify provincial insurance council regulations
  • Mail commission statements to brokers and statement inquiries
  • Log into shared phone lines (phone queue) to respond to commission and licensing questions from brokers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
