As the Agency Operator, you’ll take the reins of an existing rental operation, build and lead your own team, and drive the continued success of the Avis brand in one of Queensland’s most iconic destinations. You’ll enjoy the freedom of running your own business while benefiting from the support, systems, and guidance of a multinational corporation—including close collaboration with the Queensland State Manager. In taking over this rental operation you would be required to pay overheads such as staffing and insurance but would use Avis Budget Group equipment and take a percentage of the revenue. The successful Agency Operator will be responsible to the State Manager. This is a remote location but one that presents growth and opportunity. Responsibilities include: Providing a high standard of Customer Service Ensuring location meets audit and customer service standards Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures in line with the agency agreement Working efficiently and effectively in a team environment Maintaining Avis standards in line with company guidelines Liaising with the Fleet and Commercial Managers for fleet requirements Printing, actioning and monitoring reports to initiate appropriate actions Performing duties as requested Identifying potential business opportunities To be successful as an Agency Operator ideally you will possess: A strong entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to succeed in their own business The ability to operate a small business, along with the necessary financial & statutory reporting skills Proficiency in using the Office suite Managerial or supervisory experience Basic knowledge of employee relations legislation, including but not limited to Workplace Health & Safety, Bullying & Harassment The ability to work independently Exceptional customer service skills A commitment to our ABG Vision and Values Please be advised that an Agency Operator is not an employee of Avis Budget Group and therefore is not eligible for staff benefits or employee entitlements.
