This role is introductory to agency operations and will analyze agency financial data and perform agency financial reporting and accounting systems administration. Be ready to: review and analyze agency financial data to identify trends conduct routine research and lead discussions to address analytic results clarify to agents their fiduciary obligations according to the CIC contract work with partnering departments and agency staff to improve workflows assist with analytic reporting preparation assist Legal and the Special Investigations Unit upon request learn the administrator responsibilities for the accounting systems used by Agency Service & Field Support Be equipped with: the ability to work within a team and independently excellent verbal and written communication skills the ability to identify and analyze key critical issues and provide solutions for successful outcomes strong time management proficiency using Microsoft® products, especially Excel the ability to travel when necessary (at least once a year) the ability and desire to learn the technical skills required to maintain accounting systems a willingness to earn and maintain the Certified Fraud Examiner designation Bring education and experience from: a bachelor’s degree (preferred) or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience commercial lines experience (preferred) accounting experience (preferred) Enhance your talents Providing outstanding service and developing strong relationships with our independent agents are hallmarks of our company.
