Communication Internal Communication: 1. Senior Coordinator - Customs Clearance Services 2. Service Delivery /Transport dept. Purpose: 1. Reports major issues and areas of non compliance to ensure quality service to Customer. 2. Ensure on time completion of import documentation & delivery External Communication: 1. Port Authorities/Forwarders 2. Customers Purpose: 1. Liaise with port authorities to update the Service Delivery on the changes in procedure and document requirements. 2. Coordinate with Customers to organize the requirements for hassle free shipment Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Accountability: Are accountable for their acts and omissions. Responsibility: To follow agreed safe systems of work; to follow training and instructions; and to report accidents, incidents and near misses. Authority: To stop work if they think the work is unsafe.
Responsibilities
The role involves reporting major issues and non-compliance areas to ensure quality customer service, and ensuring the timely completion of import documentation and delivery. Responsibilities also include liaising with port authorities regarding procedural changes and coordinating with customers for shipment requirements.
