Description
build for those who build 🏭 opus builds the platform to deploy AI agents across industrial supply chain operations. Our mission is to strengthen Europe's industrial backbone by making operational processes future-proof. The agents automate the purchase order lifecycle end to end, giving companies control over their single largest cost driver. They run on the supply chain context graph: a real-time intelligence layer built from ERP data and the knowledge that today only lives in inboxes and people's heads. That graph is where the value sits, and it carries agent use cases far beyond procurement. Leading companies already trust opus AI agents and are transforming their processes into a competitive advantage with us. 🚀 we are in production with enterprise customers – scaling rapidly and shipping new features as we speak. 💰 we secured $6M in funding from Project A, Speedinvest, Sequoia Scouts and industry veterans like Marcell Vollmer (former Chief Digital Officer & Chief Procurement Officer of SAP). 👥 we are a team of entrepreneurs, industry experts, and engineers driven by a joint ambition – to safeguard the economic foundation of Europe for future generations. as Agent Deployment Lead, you own both sides of every go-live: the customer and the agents. you work side by side with Beni (CEO), Niklas (COO), and Shane (CTO), and every deployment is your responsibility. no playbook, no inherited process. a product that works, customers ready to go live, and the mandate to make it happen. you run each onboarding as a structured project, and you shape the agents to each customer's reality: their processes, their systems, their people. the vision is simple: every customer goes live fast, stays live, and never needs a founder in the loop to get there. Tasks 🎯 The impact you will have own every deployment end to end. from signed contract to confirmed first value: plan, timeline, stakeholders, go-live. you shield our engineers from onboarding work and build toward a process that runs without them. deploy the agents themselves. you map each customer's procure-to-pay reality to opus agents: configure the workflows, test against real cases, tune until they perform in production. be the technical bridge. requirements from procurement and IT become clear integration specs for engineering: ERP, DMS, email infrastructure. you flag risks early, hand off cleanly, and back sales with technical credibility when customer IT asks about security and implementation. make adoption stick. agents change how people work. you run key user trainings, manage the change, and make sure the customer sees real value from day one. build the support foundation and feed learnings back. ticketing, escalation paths, integration partners: you build it, handle live issues yourself, and turn what you see in the field into weekly input for product and engineering. support sales with technical credibility. you engage with customer IT departments during the sales cycle – security, compliance, implementation questions – in German, with the depth that builds trust before a contract is even signed. feed learnings back into the product. you're on the front lines of how opus performs in real customer environments. recurring challenges, feedback, edge cases - you capture them and translate them into actionable input for product and engineering. weekly, not quarterly. Requirements ⭐️ What makes you a great fit 2 to 3 years in consulting or structured implementation, plus the startup bug. you've run complex projects with senior client stakeholders: diligent, structured, on time. builder, not operator. onboarding playbooks, partner frameworks, support infrastructure: if it's not there yet, you build it. ambiguity is where you do your best work. you can hold the room. real conversations with IT departments and senior management without hand-holding. enough technical depth to spot risks and build trust fast. AI-native in practice. you work with AI tools daily, you understand what agents can and can't do, and you can explain both to a skeptical Head of Procurement. project management in your DNA. parallel deployments, shifting priorities, competing stakeholders: everything tracked, aligned, moving. you flag risks before they become delays. native German, strong professional English (C1+). enterprise kickoff with a German IT team in the morning, internal strategy session in English in the afternoon. Benefits 📦 The opus package Competitive compensation + meaningful equity – real ownership in opus' long-term success. Impact from day one – high ownership, fast customer feedback, responsibility for outcomes. AI-first, builder environment – the best tools, low overhead, strong bias to ship and learn. In-person by design – Berlin-Mitte office, high focus, ambitious team, low ego. 28 vacation days & flexibility when you need to recharge.
