Job Description Liaison Médicale et Scientifique (LMS), Oncologie (Québec) L’objectif de l’agent(e), Liaison Médicale et Scientifique (LMS), en vertu de sa formation et de son expertise, est de présenter de l’information scientifique et thérapeutique aux professionnels de la santé et aux chercheurs considérés par leurs pairs comme faisant autorité dans leur domaine thérapeutique (sommités scientifiques et cliniques). L’interaction entre l’agent,(e) Liaison Médicale et Scientifique et son auditoire est régie par des principes directeurs qui assurent la transmission d’information objective et fondée sur des preuves par un échange scientifique approfondi dans le domaine thérapeutique des cancers hématologiques, ce qui mène souvent à des initiatives de transfert de connaissances et de recherche. Relevant du Chef, Aire thérapeutique médical en oncologie, l’agent(e) met à profit un entregent exceptionnel, particulièrement pour ce qui est des communications interpersonnelles, et une excellente compréhension des entités morbides et des traitements, afin de bâtir et de maintenir des relations professionnelles solides avec des sommités sur le plan clinique ou en sciences fondamentales, spécialistes d’une ou de plusieurs maladies par la transmission d’information objective et fondée sur des preuves. Il ou elle maîtrise parfaitement l’utilisation courante de la plateforme de collaboration de l’application Microsoft Teams et gère plusieurs projets en cours. Il doit gérer les budgets attribués afin d’optimiser les occasions d’investissement. L’agent(e) conduira ses échanges interpersonnels de manière à respecter pleinement l’engagement de Notre entreprise envers le programme Valeurs et Normes, les politiques et procédures de la société, les normes de l’industrie ainsi que toutes les lois et tous les règlements applicables, notamment le mandat général et les principes directeurs visant les agents de liaison médicale et scientifique. Compétences: Doctorat en pharmacie ; doctorat en sciences ou en sciences de la santé (de préférence lié à un domaine pertinent) ou doctorat en médecine est requis. Exigé : Expérience dans l’industrie pharmaceutique (ou expérience équivalente), idéalement acquise dans un contexte de collaboration avec des spécialistes universitaires et/ou des leaders communautaires. Souhaité : Expérience à titre de liaison médicale et scientifique (Medical and Scientific Liaison / MSL). Minimum de 2 à 3 ans d'expérience dans le domaine thérapeutique de l'oncologie est préférable (documentation générale et clinique). Une expérience antérieure en cancer hématologique est fortement souhaitée. Capacité d’acquérir et de tenir à jour des connaissances sur un produit, une maladie et la concurrence. Connaissance approfondie des politiques et des procédures de la société, des normes de l’industrie, ainsi que des lois et des règlements en vigueur. Capacité d’analyser et de comprendre la communauté locale de pratique. Aptitude à comprendre et à intégrer des concepts scientifiques complexes. Connaissances générales de la structure, des procédures administratives et des lignes directrices de la société. Connaissances avancées de la bureautique et des logiciels connexes. The Medical Scientific Liaison's interaction with their audience is governed by guiding principles intended to deliver unbiased and evidence-based information through in-depth scientific exchange in the therapeutic area of Hematological cancers, often leading to knowledge transfer initiatives and research. Reporting to the Medical Affairs Oncology Therapeutic Area Head, the Medical and Scientific Liaison uses exceptionally strong interpersonal skills, especially in the area of one-on-one communication, and a high degree of understanding of oncology and the treatments, to develop and maintain strong scientific working relationships with Clinical Scientific Leaders in oncology with both clinicians and/or basic scientists through the communication of unbiased and evidence-based information. The Medical and Scientific Liaison achieves a high level of competency in using the Microsoft Teams collaborative platform and manages multiple ongoing projects. The Medical and Scientific Liaison is responsible for managing assigned budgets in order to optimize investment opportunities. The Medical and Scientific Liaison will ensure his/her interactions fully comply with our Company's commitment to our Values and Standards, policies, procedures, industry standards and all laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, General Mandate and Guiding Principles for Medical and Scientific Liaisons. Qualifications: Pharm D, PhD Degree in Science or Health Sciences (preferably in related disease area) or MD is required. Required: Pharmaceutical experience (or equivalent experience), ideally gained in a setting involving collaboration with academic specialists and/or community leaders. Preferred: Experience as a Medical and Scientific Liaison (MSL). 2-3 years experience in the therapeutic area of Oncology (both basic and clinical literature). Previous experience in hematologic cancer is strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to acquire and maintain product, disease and competition knowledge. Strong knowledge of Company policies, procedures, industry standards, as well as laws and regulations. Ability to analyze and understand local community of practice. Ability to comprehend and integrate complex scientific concepts. Advanced knowledge of Office technology and related software. Advanced Analysis, Planning, Implementation and Control skills.
