Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist – Construction
Location: Saint-Laurent – hybrid days at home!
Salary: $65K $75K (based on experience) + benefits
Our client, a well-established company in the construction industry, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a temporary contract of approximately one month. This role is crucial in managing billing and collections, minimizing the risk of bad debt, and maximizing cash flow.

REQUIREMENTS:

• DEC in Business Administration or experience in Credit & Collections.
• At least 3 years of experience in billing and collections; construction industry experience is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of project contracts and change orders.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and accounting software.
• Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with strong communication skills.

• Analyze accounts receivable reports to identify issues and trends, ensuring timely follow-up.
• Resolve outstanding billing issues to maximize billing opportunities.
• Maintain accurate and organized billing files for all projects.
• Build effective communication with internal and external clients to resolve outstanding accounts.
• Work with the AR team to reconcile variances in cash application.
• Assist with reconciliations, annual audits, and other tasks as needed.
