Responsibilities
Business Development:
Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the agency’s client base and increase sales.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in personal, commercial, and life insurance lines.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and customer needs.
Sales Management:
Lead the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies and marketing campaigns.
Monitor and analyze sales performance and adjust strategies as needed.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
Provide personalized insurance solutions and advice to clients.
Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Operations Management:
Oversee the daily operations of the agency, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.
Manage agency staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Monitor financial performance, prepare reports, and manage budgets.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure the agency complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Conduct regular reviews and audits to maintain high standards of operation.
Implement risk management strategies to protect clients and the agency.
Marketing and Community Engagement:
Develop and implement marketing plans to promote the agency and its products.
Engage with the local community through events, networking, and sponsorships.
Utilize digital marketing tools and social media to enhance the agency’s presence.
Training and Development:
Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for staff.
Support staff in obtaining and maintaining necessary insurance licenses.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Proven experience in insurance sales, management, or a related field.
Previous leadership or management experience is highly desirable.
Licensing:
Must hold or be willing to obtain relevant state insurance licenses (Property & Casualty, Life & Health).
Skills:
Strong leadership and management skills.
